  5,000 abandoned communities

From Desolate To Productive

As many as 5,000 historic communities in Italy have been abandoned over the years.  The reason differs from case to case but generally because the present generations have less desire to live in remote areas or to be involved in agriculture or many of the traditional arts and crafts so well performed in the past in Italy. In an event, the wholesales change in tastes and preferences resulting in all these ghost towns is what is important for our analysis. Not even considering all the conflicts around the world, Syria’s conflict alone has spawned 4.8 million refugees in neighbouring countries, hundreds of thousands in Europe, and 6.6 million people displaced inside Syria against a pre-war population of over 20 million. 33% of the population of a nation has been displaced.

 THE  CONCEPT

Meanwhile, back at the ranch in Italy, there is A remote Italian village in the hills of southern Italy named, RIACE, which has figured out the obvious - using their empty and abandoned spaces to assist with the problem of immigration. Tribalmixing takes it one step further than RIACE, in our case we even acquire entire abandoned villages where there are no people living anymore and the costs of restructuring is simply prohibitive. We renovate, repopulate and repurpose these abandoned villages, turning them into vibrant communities and thriving economic centers. Our guess at this point is that the budget for each rebirthing project will be in the €1.5 - €2 billion range.

By doing so, we monetise the crisis in Syria, the Middle East and Africa and transform these unfortunate situations into an economic boom for Italy. Helping refugee situation become a cultural enriching activity and also stimulating the economies of many rural communities previously in a state of decline or total abandonment.

Since we are transforming the old into the new, we use state-of-the-art methods to create energy, waste management, health and nutrition and economically sustainable communities that embrace Cradle to Cradle Concepts. That is the electrical energy the community uses is produced locally. The sewage generate is treated locally. Natural gasses produced from this process is captured and used in the community for cooking and heating. Many waste products are transformed to compost for fertilising the nearby fields where food for the community's needs are grown. Communal kitchens produce nutritional meals for the members of the community.

Vegetarianism is promoted since the amount you pay at the grocery store to purchase fresh turkey, beef or lamb is not the only cost to consider. Indeed, the environmental cost of consuming animal products is pretty high. The animal agricultural industry has a massive negative impact on the environment as a whole. Desertification, soil erosion, contaminated groundwater, and greenhouse gas emissions which contribute to climate change are but a few concerns that result from raising animals – specifically beef – solely for food purposes.

THE HOW

Our Intake Company/partner is architect Simone Micheli. We decide on the Village we will restore. We negotiate with the authorities, giving them a deadline of 45 days to respond, or we move on to another communities. With more than 5,000 such communities and their restoration an almost 'Mission Impossible' - we have a Buyer's Market. We do not want to waste time with too many studies and projections, so we assign a budget of € 1.5 - € 2.0 billion to the restoration. Italy is notorious for endless bureaucracy, red tape, corruption, stopping and/or delaying work in progress. We will deal with this by using the Power of the Purse and offering to purchase the abandoned villages as a Nationally Approved Charter Community with a Total Takeover Concession.

As a Charter Community we write the legislation but with this liberty comes the responsibility of providing all services for our Charter Community Citizens. We provide, manage and pay for our health care delivered either within our community or outside. When provide outside it is paid for by our Charter City Health insurance available to all legal residents of our communities at no cost to themselves.

We setup and pay for our own Municipal Services including but not limited to our roads, police and fire departments, infrastructure, and public spaces. We therefore take full responsibility for every spect of our lives. Residents also must undergo screening before they are allowed the priviledge - not a right to move into one of our communities. Diversity will be a cornerstone as it allows us to offer more as a tourist destination. All religions are welcomed to practice their beliefs in peace and harmony in our community.

Communities are also Private Enterprises and we ean the funding for our common expenses through partnership relationships with members of the community. We will fund activities of members of the community and take a 25% interest in the activity. The communities 25% is expected to support all the communities expenses in the long run.

We will place these stores in tourists destinations worldwide in countries with booming economies and we will negotiate the work permits for our Refugee running these operations with the local authorities.

 THE  WHY

The existing model is not working and we can do much better. We will approach life in a pluralistic manner where we focus on the needs of both the community and the individuals. After all, a community is a collection of individuals.

THE  TRAINING

We will need many vendors to repurpose our new communities. This will generate lots of business for Excellent Italian Businesses. Businesses brought in for their specific expertise, which are not local, will be required to partner with a local company. This gives local expertise to the non-local company and gives the local company and opportunity to learn from a leader in the industry. Companies will also be required to set-up training programs for youth, the unemployed, refugees and immigrants. once a person our a company enters into our network it will be easy from the to go from project to project. Once immigrants and refugees gain expertise they will qualify for resettlement outside Europe with our assistance.

OUR GROUP'S GOAL IS TO CREATE RELIABLE JOBS & COMFORTABLE HOMES MAINLY IN AFRICA, (but also in italy for the refugees and immigrants there) FOR PEOPLE; IN A DELIGHTFULLY DIVERSE, SAFE, HEALTHY AND JUST WORLD, WITH CLEAN AIR, WATER, SOIL AND POWER - ECONOMICALLY, EQUITABLY, ECOLOGICALLY AND ELEGANTLY ENJOYED BY ALL. Cradle To Cradle (William Mc Donough). WE ARE BUILDING A SOCIO-ECONOMIC LAUNCHING PAD FOR A CONTINENT.

R.I.P.:  Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they have been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a challenge. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary.  IMPOSSIBLE  IS NOTHING !
