The Dogon are a modern day African Tribe, a primitive tribe that live in the desert in the central plateau region of the country of Mali, in Western Africa, south of the Niger (river) bend, near the city of Bandiagara, in the Mopti region. They are about 8 hours distance from anything that can be considered 'civilization' by a western observer.

- Occurring in or characteristic of an early stage of development or evolution.
- Having developed early in the evolutionary history of a group.
- Regarded as having changed little in evolutionary history.
- 1. therefore: PRIMITIVE = FIRST, ORIGINAL. The negative connotation this word usually has is due to a misunderstanding of ALL its meanings. It is important to know the meanings of words.
The modern DOGON population numbers between 400,000 and 800,000. The Dogon are best known for their knowledge of certain aspects of astronomy that they simply should not know since sophisticated modern telescopes and equipment is necessary to discover the things they have known for more than 5,000 years.
The Dogon are a Priestly Tribe. They are very careful about preserving tradition and preserving words. There culture is a crossroads for many important ancient customs religious traditions, and they have a creation tradition of symbols and myths that is a lot like ancient Buddhism. Despite the fact that the Dogon did not have a written tradition, it is believed that the Dogon Tribe dates back to sometime around 3,000 B.C.
There are many similarities between the Dogon tradition and that of Ancient Egypt. Many of the words used by the Dogon to describe what they know about astronomy are frequently the same words in ancient Egyptian. According to Laird Scranton, one of the things that make the DOGON very interesting is that their priest say that their symbols describe how their TRIBAL GOD created matter. In fact the description of what they have to the counterpart of an ATOM (ATUM) is a correct description and the have a correct understanding of ELECTRONS and PROTONS and the NEUTRONS that make up ATOMS but they even go much further than modern science with their descriptions.
Comparing DOGON description of astronomy to Modern interpretations shows a miraculous similarity between the two with the difference being that the 5000 year old DOGON people did not have the modern instruments and telescopes necessary to observe and study astronomy at this level yet modern science is confirming their 5,000 year old knowledge. They even discuss things that modern science does not even address like what happened BEFORE THE BIG BANG that created the universe.
They also discuss how it is that an act of perception can cause matter in its wave like form to suddenly turn into particles. This implies that we can impact the fundamental building blocks of consciousness which in turn overlaps onto the world as we know it. …… ergo our ability to use consciousness to manipulate our environment, ergo, create the world we want, based on the cradle-to-cradle mode of sustainability, the cornerstone of the work of tribalmixing, whose GOAL IS TO CREATE RELIABLE JOBS & COMFORTABLE HOMES MAINLY IN AFRICA, FOR PEOPLE; IN A DELIGHTFULLY DIVERSE, SAFE, HEALTHY AND JUST WORLD, WITH CLEAN AIR, WATER, SOIL AND POWER - ECONOMICALLY, EQUITABLY, ECOLOGICALLY AND ELEGANTLY ENJOYED BY ALL. So what the DOGON teaches us is that all knowledge does not necessarily come from the accepted modern methods of study and there are other ways, unknown to us presently, for acquiring knowledge. So we embrace the SPIRITUAL ELEMENT OF BUSINESS and the GAGUT (God Almighty Grand Truth Theorem) explanation of everything which lines up with a cross section of teaching dating back at least 5000 years and opens the door to the possibility that some of this knowledge was imparted by life from places beyond the geometric time space neighbourhood of planet Earth.
The future in Africa is now, but there is room for everybody as there is so much to do and our continent is huge.
